The Consortium is a university wide initiative designed to foster interdisciplinary research, teaching, and discourse on broad societal and public policy dimensions of emerging and established technologies, including but certainly not limited to biotechnology, nanotechology, sensing, and information technology.
The third annual Biotechnology Entrepreneur Lecture Series, held on September 25th featured George Poste, Director of The Biodesign Institute and Chief Scientist of the Complex Adaptive Systems Initiative at Arizona State University. Dr. Poste presented "Biotechnology, Molecular Medicine, and the Future Evolution of Healthcare."
