Students Share Science and Technology Policy Posters
For their final Project of the Fall 2007 Semester, students enrolled in the Graduate Political Science course "Science, Technology, and Public Policy" at Northeastern shared their posters at an exhibition.
The graduate section of the class, taught by Professor Christopher Bosso, discusses the impacts of breakthroughs in science and technology on politics and public policy making - and how politics in turn influences scientific research and technological development.
The seminar was built around presentations by NU faculty and guest scholars and organized around a theme of capacity - the degree to which citizens, policymakers, and governing institutions are able to address the expected and unintended challenges posed by scientific discoveries and technological innovations.
This poster session was sponsored by the Consortium on Technology and Society and Northeastern University with support by the College of Arts and Sciences and a grant from the National Science Foundation (SES #0609078).
