The range of research on technology and society related topics runs wide and deep. We list here a few of the larger projects of particular note, and will add more information as we proceed:

• Nanotechnology and Society Research Group
  The NSRG is dedicated to the study of the societal dimensions of nanotechnology research, development, application, and commercialization.
• Nanomedicine Science and Technology Program
  A new integrated doctoral education program in the emerging field of nanomedicine, created with support from the National Cancer Institute and the National Science Foundation
• Public Health Advocacy Institute
  PHAI's mission is to improve the understanding, commitment and effectiveness of policymakers and lawyers in protecting the public health. PHAI brings decades of experience in public health and law to bear on current issues in public health.
